The Lockport Family YMCA is a new state of the art 54,000 square foot facility.
A large field house provides for a light filled natatorium containing an 8 lane competition pool and a zero entry multi-purpose pool for infants, seniors and mixed use activities.
The large gymnasium provides space for 3 basketball courts and multi-use spaces. A large cardio-vascular and weight area on the second floor over looks both the pool area and the gymnasium creating visual connections encouraging participation. A 1/6 mile indoor running track circles the entire facility on the second level.
The entry, administrative areas, child care, aerobics and multi-use community rooms are housed in a foreground building that welcomes visitors.
Tredo Engineers provided structural enigneering and civil engineering services in the design two-story steel framed athletic building on a +/-30-acre parcel.
